No boss, no workers and no salary cap? For most of us, online marketing was too nontraditional to grasp. Our families never brought us up to make money from the comfort of home. The education system never taught us to go to college, learn marketing, then sit at home and make money on the internet. Now, our email boxes are filled with opportunities to super gurus&#8217; videos with exotic cars, on vacation and do not forget the story of how they were dirt poor until that day that&#8230;such and such. The moral of the story allegedly is that we should hang around a bar, approach any group of rich kids or live in the streets until somebody offers us never before seen software. The first step to affiliate marketing success is to stop searching for the quick millions everywhere. All you&#8217;ll find are time wasters, free reports you&#8217;ll that gather virtual dust and useless garbage. A must have is a road map of the streets that lead to affiliate marketing success. Instead of trying to get you to buy outdated maps, you get deals on magic one click software that will make you rich tomorrow. Write down a dozen items that you have bought and what made you buy it. Also make a list of unique talents you have whether it is medicine, tattooing or contracting. Next take a look on the affiliate networks and keyword databases to find products that are searched for. Let&#8217;s go old school and find a problem or ailment that a lot of people share, then offer a solution, product or service to fill that need.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">I also was overtaken by the guru high pressure sales pitches also. The answer is not the software; it&#8217;s the discovery of buyers&#8217; wishes and services then filling the gap. Affiliate marketing is about getting the products to the people that have a need. It&#8217;s time to come to reality and get with the basics in order to excel in affiliate marketing. Then use one of the multitudes of keyword tools like the Google Keyword Tool, to research the words people use in search engines. Finally apply those keywords to your method or methods of marketing.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Your marketing method is often set by your cash flow available. Chat rooms, articles and blogs are effective but take more work to start making sales. Pay per Click, Adsense and paying for solos convert quickly but can be expensive and some have to work up to it. The truth is that there are numerous ways to make money out there. However, good money will be loss if you keep falling for every software product offered. Success will not come by reading or falling for all the free eBook available. Latch onto recently successful as well as experienced marketer that has walked the path to success in internet marketing.</p>

<p>We love the stories of the average person who hops on the net and makes $100,000 their first year.</p>
<p>The problem is these stories and these individuals are the exception, not the rule.</p>
<p>They end up reinforcing the &#8220;get rich quick&#8221; easy money mentality. A newbie starts marketing and after a week or two starts questioning why he isn&#8217;t making a &#8221;boatload&#8221; of money yet.</p>
<p>He&#8217;s frustrated because he&#8217;s made the exceptional, rare case his yardstick, instead of learning the truth about how much time and planning goes into building a business.</p>
<p>He hasn&#8217;t made a long term commitment to his future.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s time to start setting goals based on reality.</p>
<p>So what is the truth?</p>
<p>It takes the $100,000 a year earner around two to three<br />
years to reach their income levels.</p>
<p>It took most of them six months or more to reach the goal of m.aking $1,000 a month.</p>
<p>What do those statistics tell you?</p>
<p>Most of the highest earners had committed to a two to three year game plan.</p>
<p>They were willing to hang tight for six months or more before they reached their first $1,000 a month in profits.</p>
<p>Are you prepared to do the same, or are you still expecting to make $15,000 in your first 15 days?</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re not willing to make that type of commitment, you&#8217;re better off going to the track or the casino.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re not ready, willing and able to make a long term commitment to your future, save yourself the frustration of setting yourself up to fail.</p>
<p>Ignoring the facts and burying your head in the sand, will keep you hopping from program to program. You&#8217;ll never give any program the time necessary to show a real profit.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s in your hands. You can make a long term commitment to building your future, or you can stay frustrated and eventually stop trying.</p>
<p>The choice is yours.</p>
<p>Commit or perish.</p>

This gives people more reasons to buy your products and services. People also have come to believe package deals are a better value.You wants althea products or services to be closely related. For example: if you&#8217;re selling a computer you could add in software, hardware, computer furniture, etc.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">There are many ways to go about choosing the right products or services to bundle into one package. You could survey your customers and see what products or services they would like you to offer in the future. Spy on your competition and see what products and services they&#8217;re offering or not offering. If you would like to, bundle unrelated products or services together, ask your customers which ones would be of interest to them.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Bundling can also increase your target markets which in return would give you a larger audience to sell your products and services. For example: if you&#8217;re selling a baseball magazine you could add a free baseball when someone buys a subscription. You&#8217;re now targeting people who want the baseball magazine and those that want to play baseball out in the yard. Some people buy a package deal just to get one of the products.<br />
There are many sources where you can find products and services to create a package deal. You can buy them from wholesalers or drop shippers. You can buy the reproduction/resell rights to other people’s products. Team-up with your competition to create a package deal. You could joint venture or cross promotion deal with other businesses. You could also create your own products and services. Be creative!</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">2. Do you have a product or service that doesn’t sell well? Offer it as a free bonus for someone else&#8217;s product or service. Get free advertising by placing your web site or business ad on the product or in the product package.</p>
<p>3. Trade auto-responder ads with other businesses. If both of you send out information with auto-responders just exchange a small classified ad to put at the bottom or top of each other&#8217;s auto-responder message.</p>

<p>I&#8217;m sure you&#8217;ve seen those ads that grab your attention and have<br />
you ready to pull out your wallet or credit card. They are making<br />
you an offer you can&#8217;t refuse.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t you wish your ads were that persuasive?</p>
<p>Are the marketers who wrote these ads natural born writers, or is<br />
there a formula that you can learn?</p>
<p>Writing to persuade is a skill that can be learned, like any other<br />
skill. It&#8217;s just a matter of breaking down the process into four<br />
simple steps.</p>
<p><strong>Step # 1.</strong></p>
<p>The first step in writing your killer sales letter is to identify<br />
your target market.</p>
<p>This seems simple enough, but how many marketers do it?</p>
<p>When reading some of the ads I get in my inbox, I have to wonder.</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t want to burst your bubble, but the truth is, not everyone on<br />
the planet is a prospect. Concentrate on those who are.</p>
<p>Before you begin your ad campaign identify your target audience.</p>
<p><strong>Step # 2. </strong></p>
<p>Once you&#8217;ve identified your target market, determine what their<br />
major problems are.</p>
<p>* Do they need more money?</p>
<p>* Do they need to save time?</p>
<p>* Are they interested in improving their health?</p>
<p>Sit down and determine every problem that your prospects have and<br />
decide how your product or service can help solve their problems.</p>
<p>There are no shortage of problems, but there is a shortage of<br />
problem solvers. Start becoming a problem solver and you&#8217;ll always<br />
be in demand.</p>
<p>OK, you&#8217;ve identified your market, you&#8217;ve determined what problems<br />
they have, now you&#8217;re ready for the next step.</p>
<p><strong>Step # 3. </strong></p>
<p>The third step in writing your killer copy is to let your prospects<br />
know that there is a solution to their problem. Not only is there a<br />
solution to their problem, but you have the solution.</p>
<p>Remember these three magic words, &#8220;I can help.&#8221;</p>
<p>Identifying the problem is not enough. You have to show the reader<br />
that there is a solution and you have it.</p>
<p>Tell them every benefit they will get when they order your product,<br />
or take advantage of your service.</p>
<p>Let them know you can help them</p>
<p>* Make more money</p>
<p>* Save time</p>
<p>* Improve their health.</p>
<p><strong>Step # 4. </strong></p>
<p>The final step in creating killer ad copy is getting the prospect to<br />
take action.</p>
<p>Identifying your market, determining their problems and letting them<br />
know you have the solution, is not enough.</p>
<p>You have to make them act.</p>
<p>You have to create a sense of urgency.</p>
<p>There are many ways you can do this.</p>
<p>You can offer a special discount for fast action.</p>
<p>You can offer special fast action bonuses.</p>
<p>Ask for the order.</p>
<p>Let them know they don&#8217;t have to put up with their problems another<br />
day.</p>
<p>You can solve them right now.</p>
<p>These four steps are a basic outline to get you started.</p>
<p>Start studying the sales letters you read and break them down into<br />
the four basic steps.</p>
<p>Determine how effective the writer was in covering the bases.</p>
<p>Make notes on how you could improve on the sales letter.</p>
<p>Learning to write persuasive copy is a life &#8211; long venture.</p>
<p>When you&#8217;re writing your next sales letter, remember the four step<br />
formula.</p>
<p>1. Identify your market</p>
<p>2. Identify their problem</p>
<p>3. Let them know how you can solve their problem</p>
<p>4. Ask for the order</p>

<p>Many marketers have compared the art of marketing to the art of<br />
war. Some of the names used by marketers for their systems bears<br />
this out.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t think so?</p>
<p>What do these programs bring to mind?</p>
<p>* Guerilla Marketing<br />
* The Warriors<br />
* Stealth Marketing</p>
<p>Looking at those names you know these guys mean business. So what<br />
separates these successful marketers from the 95% who fail?</p>
<p>They&#8217;re not smarter than the average marketer, but they do market<br />
slightly different.</p>
<p>The vast majority of marketers are going to battle with a shot gun.<br />
They have no clear cut target. They are closing their eyes, pulling<br />
the trigger and hoping they hit something.</p>
<p>They may occasionally hit something, but sooner or latter they&#8217;re<br />
going to run out of ammunition. Unless they are extremely lucky,<br />
their advertising budget will be spent with little or no sales to<br />
show for their efforts.</p>
<p>The top marketers on the other hand, think like a sniper. They know<br />
that they may only get one chance to close the sale. They take<br />
careful aim and make every shot count.</p>
<p>They know their target.</p>
<p>So what do these snipers do?</p>
<p>The most important element in their arsenal is their targeted list.<br />
They are masters of building and working their list.</p>
<p>By targeting their market they place the odds in their favor.</p>
<p>By making every shot count they have enough reserve funds to turn<br />
around a losing offer and make it into a winner.</p>
<p>If you truly want to succeed, learn the difference between a<br />
suspect, a prospect and a customer.</p>
<p>Put away that shot gun and make every shot count.</p>
<p>Start targeting your advertising campaigns and remember, &#8220;One shot,<br />
one kill!&#8221;</p>
<p>Do that and you&#8217;ll avoid being the next casualty.</p>

<p>Think about it.</p>
<p>Once the word spreads that you&#8217;re a problem solver, prospects will<br />
beat a path to your door.</p>
<p>Why?</p>
<p>Everyone on this earth has problems.</p>
<p>Once you&#8217;ve developed a reputation for problem solving, you&#8217;ll never<br />
be idle.</p>
<p>There are more people with problems than you could help in ten<br />
lifetimes.</p>
<p>What&#8217;s the quickest way to develop a reputation as a problem solver?</p>
<p>Writing articles.</p>
<p>Once I started writing articles, everything changed.</p>
<p>I went from an unknown, unprofitable marketer, to an expert problem<br />
solver.</p>
<p>Guess what?</p>
<p>You can too.</p>
<p>Once you&#8217;ve launched your article virus, you won&#8217;t have to look for<br />
opportunity, it will come to you.</p>
